After developing pigmentation in her late twenties, Ellen, the founder of Avocado Zinc, began searching for a gentle SPF that could sit comfortably under makeup without irritating the skin, clogging pores or leaving a chalky white cast.

Working with a local manufacturer, she developed a sheer, zinc-based sunscreen made with natural ingredients and designed for daily use.
