Our story

Bondi Beach, Sydney

Apotecari was born from a moment of personal crisis. In 2013, founder Simone Abaron, a qualified naturopath, nutritionist and herbalist, suffered a severe hair catastrophe that left her with extreme damage and a pixie cut she never asked for.

Determined to restore her hair health from within, Simone drew on more than 15 years of experience in nutritional science and botanical medicine, having formulated supplements for some of the world’s leading health brands. She undertook training in trichology to deepen her understanding of the hair and scalp, combining this new expertise with her background in natural health.

What began as a personal pursuit of recovery evolved into a professional mission to redefine hair and scalp wellness, creating targeted, bioactive supplements that deliver visible results for real people.

Packaging designed to last. Apotecari's biophotonic glass bottles are made for indefinite reuse, whether refilled with Apotecari formulas or repurposed at home for other light-sensitive goods.

Made close to home. Every Apotecari formulation is developed, manufactured and packed in New South Wales, keeping the supply chain short and transport emissions low with shipping materials that are recyclable or compostable.
