Phytality was founded by Mark after more than 15 years working across marine biotechnology and natural health. Having seen the Omega-3 industry up close, Mark became increasingly aware of the environmental cost of fish oil and the fragility of the supply chains used to produce it.

For Mark, algae was always the more intelligent source: the original producer of omega-3, before fish became the industry’s middleman. Working with European partners, he created Phytality around a clear conviction — that the most effective supplement and the most responsible one should be the same product.
