Byron Bay
Eye of Horus is an Australian cosmetics brand inspired by ancient Egyptian beauty rituals, modern performance and care for sensitive skin. Founded in Byron Bay in 2012 by Holly Schleich, the brand began with the Goddess Mascara: a cult formula created after Holly struggled to find eye makeup that offered depth and definition without irritation.
Drawing on her background in naturopathy and a family lineage in natural skincare, Holly built Eye of Horus around plant-based ingredients, ethical sourcing and refined wearability. Inspired by the Eye of Horus symbol — an emblem of protection, restoration and beauty — the brand has grown into a full colour cosmetics range, heroing nourishing oils such as moringa and hemp alongside natural ingredients.

Refillable & Recycled Packaging. Eye of Horus use post-consumer recycled or recyclable materials across much of their range, with over half of their products designed as refills or refillable to help reduce packaging waste.
Clean, Cruelty-Free Formulas. Formulas are 100% cruelty-free, paraben-free and gluten-free, with the majority of the range vegan and select ingredients, such as beeswax, ethically sourced.
Circular & Transparent Practices. Through their TerraCycle returns program, small-batch production and ongoing packaging innovation, Eye of Horus take a transparent approach to reducing waste and improving sustainability.
