BODHA was founded in 2014 by Emily and Fred L’Ami, a New Zealand-born creative duo guided by the quiet power of scent. Emily came to perfumery through mathematics, but found herself drawn to the raw materials themselves: their complexity, strangeness and living imperfection.

Working with natural ingredients, Emily creates perfumes designed to be felt as much as worn, translating texture, atmosphere and presence into scent. Fred brings the same sensory precision to the visual and tactile world of BODHA, shaping everything seen and touched. Together, they created the brand around a simple belief: that scent is not just luxury or novelty, but a way back to something real.

Highest quality botanicals. BODHA uses 100% natural, therapeutic-grade botanical ingredients, avoiding synthetic fragrances and petroleum derivatives.

Eco-packaging. Sustainable packaging is favoured, including tactile paper stocks with minimal environmental impact.

Ethical production. BODHA celebrates the skills of artisan makers, with ecological harmony and mindful creation at heart.
