Our origin has traversed the east coast of Australia. Su and Alex both currently live in Byron Bay. Our skincare is made in Melbourne. Foile started out with a small concept store in Bondi in 2020.
Foile was built on a desire to create skincare at its most essential: gentle, supportive, and free from unnecessary or aggravating ingredients. Suzanne, a qualified nutritionist, and Alexandra, with a focus on design, bring experience from the wellness industry and a shared belief in a more considered approach to skincare. Their perspective is grounded in restraint, focusing only on what the skin truly needs. By stripping back complexity, they created products that work in harmony with the skin, proving that less is more.

Making our skincare in Australia as well as sourcing ingredients from Australia where possible, this is something we want to continue working on to support local Australian businesses and agriculture, as well as minimising freight miles.
