Saint Matt is Apostle's love letter to mole poblano, the complex, layered sauce that sits at the heart of Mexican cooking. Mānuka-smoked chipotles lay down a deep, lingering smokiness, while direct-sourced cacao adds subtle bitterness and body in the way only chocolate can. Warming spices, slow-roasted onion and capsicum build complexity and natural sweetness, with the addition of barrel-aged organic apple cider vinegar for brightness.

How to use
Drizzle over tacos, nachos, roast vegetables and slow-cooked meats, or stir through mayonnaise for a rich burger sauce. Refrigerate after opening.
Source & integrity
Circular Packaging System. Apostle encourage customers to return empty sauce bottles to retail locations, where they are washed, sterilised and reused, while their vinegar suppliers also operate a container reuse loop.
Local, Low-Waste Production. Apostle source locally where possible, using chillies from Ōtaki’s Penray Gardens, organic apple cider vinegar from Coral Tree Organics and homegrown Kawakawa leaves, while composting green waste and recycling cardboard.
Giving Back to Regenerative Projects. $1 from select sauce lines is donated to regenerative farming projects and local food security initiatives, supporting a more resilient food system.
