Apostle takes the classic Japanese seven-spice blend and grounds it in Aotearoa, weaving native horopito and locally grown hemp through a traditional base to create something familiar and entirely its own. Nutty, warming, citrusy and gently spiced.

How to use
Sprinkle over noodles, rice, grilled vegetables, eggs or soups to add warmth and citrus spice. Store in a cool, dry place.
Source & integrity
Circular Packaging System. Apostle encourage customers to return empty sauce bottles to retail locations, where they are washed, sterilised and reused, while their vinegar suppliers also operate a container reuse loop.
Local, Low-Waste Production. Apostle source locally where possible, using chillies from Ōtaki’s Penray Gardens, organic apple cider vinegar from Coral Tree Organics and homegrown Kawakawa leaves, while composting green waste and recycling cardboard.
Giving Back to Regenerative Projects. $1 from select sauce lines is donated to regenerative farming projects and local food security initiatives, supporting a more resilient food system.
