In Virunga, Africa's oldest national park and home to the last mountain gorillas, hundreds of women have taken local leadership to become craft cacao growers, regenerating forests and healing communities. The Femmes de Virunga are the world's first female cocoa cooperative, and the source of the beans for this bar.

Regenerative & Ethical Cacao Sourcing. Ocelot source primarily from Original Beans, supporting farmers with above-living-wage premiums while helping protect rainforest ecosystems and rare cacao varieties, including those grown by all-female cooperatives.
Certified Organic Ingredients. Chocolate bars are OF&G-certified organic and made with unrefined cane sugar, without preservatives or artificial emulsifiers.
Tree Planting. For every chocolate bar purchased, one tree is planted.
Conscious Packaging. Packaging uses sustainable paper stock and a fully home-compostable, biodegradable inner film.
