Used traditionally by Mayan Indians, Damiana works as a nervine tonic, mildly stimulating and boosting mood as well as libido. These aphrodisiac properties have been recorded for centuries and with damiana working to both relax and gently stimulate it makes perfect sense.

Dandelion leaf

An effective diuretic and mild choleretic (stimulates bile production), the leaf of dandelion is useful for reducing fluid retention and enhancing liver function.

Dandelion root

Traditionally used in cases of liver insufficiency, dandelion root has bitter and mild laxative properties. It stimulates the production and release of bile, thus assisting the excretion of fat-soluble toxins.

Echinacea

Elder

The berries and leaves are both used for common colds and flus, sinusitis, hay fever.Possessing antiviral, immune enhancing and antioxidant properties.

Fennel

Traditionally used as a carminative in the treatment of colic, flatulence and IBS. The seeds are coated with sugar in Indian cuisine and chewed following a meal to ease digestion. Used in breastfeeding, fennel is an affective galactagogue, stimulating the production and release of breast milk.

Goji berries

Also known as wolfberry, goji naturally assists diabetics, is rich in antioxidants and dates back thousands of years to monks obtaining greater health, vitality, longevity, energy and stamina.

Green tea

Dating back 5000 years, the leaves of Camellia Sinensis are second only to water as the world’s most popular beverage. Numerous studies have demonstrated anti-carcinogenic and antioxidant properties. Green tea is used as a neuroprotective, both before and after toxicity as well as in cased of heavy metal poisoning. Containing approximately 3% caffeine and is rich in polyphenols - the interaction between the two attributed to Green tea’s ‘thermogenic’ (fat burning) effect.

Hops

Traditionally used to add the bitter quality to beer. Native American use as a hypnotic oestrogenic… female pickers often began to menstruate 2 days after beginning to pick hops. Enough beer can produce these effects. Sedative, relaxant, antispasmodic.

This Essence is for people who are vague and indecisive and do not pay attention to detail. For those who tend to 'split off' easily, especially when there is work to be done. This Essence will keep them focused in the present and reduces procrastination. It is for those who tend to be vague, dreamy or drawn to drugs. This carnivorous plant is found in damp, boggy areas and has a crimson, 'earth-hugging' base. It sends up a tall stem to which delicate little flowers are attached.

Red lily

Red Lily is the same flower as the Sacred Lotus in the Buddhist tradition. It is for spirituality and connection to God in a grounded and centred way, allowing a person to have a wholeness to their spirituality by also realising the need to develop and maintain a balanced physical and emotional life. It has similar properties to that of Sundew for feeling scattered, not whole, vague and split, though Sundew applies to daily life whereas Red Lily is in relation to one's spirituality. I waded thigh deep in mud through a billabong teeming with leeches, turtles and snakes to pick this flower. Such is the joy of discovery.

Jadeite jade

Agitated, upset; easily pulled out of center by intense experiences; attached to drama; makes things harder or more involved than they need to be; unable to accept the way things are in the moment. Healing Qualities - a vibration of peace, balance and timeless simplicity; helps us stay centered in the moment with an awareness and acceptance of our true essence.

Moldavite

Caught up in the dualities of here or there, now or then; going out of the body for information rather than staying present to receive it; feeling separate and out of touch, especially with the higher self. Healing Qualities - connectedness; an energetic window into universal perspective; helps us stay present in the moment while accessing what we need from the higher realms to express our earthly potential.

Turquoise

Please note that where CCTV is in operation in our stores you may be captured on CCTV and the footage stored for 28 days. We do several things designed to keep our data secure, including administrative, technical and physical safeguards such as firewalls and encryption measures.
While we endeavour to protect our systems, website, operations and information against unauthorised access, use, modification and disclosure, due to the inherent nature of the Internet as an open global communications vehicle and other risk factors, we cannot guarantee that any information, during transmission or while stored on our systems, will be safe from intrusion by others, such as hackers.
Orchard St. takes reasonable steps to:
a) make sure that the personal information we collect, use and disclose is accurate, complete and up-to-date;
b) protect the personal information that we hold from misuse and loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure; and

Orchard St. 's credit card transactions are fulfilled by an authorised banking institution. When collecting credit card information for online purchases, Orchard St. offers secured server transactions that encrypt your information in transit to help prevent others from accessing it. Apothecary and Daily Ritual Deliveries

We will endeavour to send your package within 24 hours of ordering, Monday - Friday.

All domestic packages are sent via Pack & Send. You will receive an email from Pack & Send with your tracking number when it is dispatched.
If you have ordered a Juice Cleanse or Mix and Match Juice as well as another product, everything will be delivered together by our driver.

Cleanse Delivery

1. Orders must be placed at least two days before you want to begin.
2. Once you have made your order we'll send you a confirmation email. Please ensure start date, delivery address and any special requirements are correct.
3. Please provide a delivery address where you will be present during our hours of delivery or ensure that someone will be there to receive it on your behalf.
4. Picking up your cleanse in store? Pick up your boxes in store on either Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday on the start day of your cleanse. If you have ordered a 5 day cleanse, there will be two pick up days to ensure freshness of your juices.
Unfortunately we are unable to have boxes ready the day prior to your cleanse start date.
Local deliveries
1. Local cleanses are delivered between 3pm & 9pm the evening before your start date, so Monday, Wednesday or Friday between those times.
2. If you are not present at the delivery location, please leave clear instructions, such as a door code for a locked apartment building.
3. If we have to leave the delivery behind, we'll text you once drop off has been made.
4. For freshness, 5-day cleanses will be delivered in two drops; the first will contain three boxes and the second delivery two boxes.
Courier deliveries
We can deliver to almost any address in Sydney; home, office or hotel. During this time we can unfortunately not ship outside of Sydney, hopefully we can resume these again soon.
